Getting Ready For Warmer Weather: Transitional Dressing

April 9, 2020 •

As the weather starts to get warmer, even if it’s little by little as it is here in Cleveland, I am so ready to pack away my heaviest coats and look for new pieces to wear during this time of transition. I want something that will keep me warm, but not the heavy winter coats I’ve been wearing. This Theory coat is perfect for the job. It’s made of wool and cashmere and comes in a variety of colors. I chose the gray because, well neutrals are my thing, but at least it’s something other than black!

I paired it with an old turtleneck I had that has some cute buttons on the sleeve. The 3.1 Phillip Lim joggers are so cute with their cargo pockets. Unfortunately they’re no longer available, but don’t worry I found so many cute joggers and pants by 3.1 Phillip Lim as well as some other brands.

I love these Steve Madden combat boots. I wear them a lot (as you can see from previous posts!) and they’re super comfortable. I’d also wear this outfit with a kitten or block heel bootie while it’s still cool out or a cute flat as it gets a little warmer.

This outfit is so versatile and simply changing the turtleneck to a t-shirt will help you transition in to the warmer weather.
