Jeans tend to be a staple and believe me there’s nothing like a great pair of jeans, but sometimes I want something different. When I saw these Topshop pants I knew they were just what I was looking for. Yes they are a neutral, but they’re a pattern and I do love plaid! I was so excited and they did not disappoint.
I paired these trousers with a solid black turtleneck although I would also wear a lighter color as well-think a cream colored sweater. And then when the weather gets warmer or if you live in a warm weather place (lucky!) a t-shirt would look great with these as well.
As for shoes there are so many options to wear with these plaid pants. I wore a flat, black mule and a beige square toe loafer that can also be worn as a mule, but a combat boot, a kitten or block heel bootie, or a flat closed toe shoe would also work well.
Since the outfit was pretty much all neutral I thought it could use a little bit of color so I added this Boyy Bag. I love how it looks with this outfit and think it’s a great size. This outfit is anything but boring!
