Maplewood Boutique: A Mobile Store!

Imagine turning a mail truck in to a store? Well, that’s exactly what Kristin and Liz did when they created Maplewood Boutique in 2018 and now they take their traveling boutique throughout northeast Ohio selling current, classic, affordable women’s clothing and accessories. 

I had the opportunity to (virtually) attend their fashion show at the beginning of September and am so excited to share some of the fun fashion Maplewood Boutique has to offer.

I love a blazer to throw on over a t-shirt and jeans with sneakers or booties or to dress up with a pair of dress pants, a skirt, or over a dress. This plaid oversized blazer is perfect in style and color for both work and play. I love the subtle pop of color; it makes this blazer fun, but still classy.

It’s hard to pack away my summer dresses, especially this year when I didn’t get to wear so many of them. Layering this gorgeous, cozy cardigan over a slip dress with a pair of booties is the perfect way to extend the life of a summer wardrobe. The burgundy color is so rich and perfect for fall. It makes me think of the mums I have in my garden-so pretty! I know I’m going to live in this sweater pairing it with dresses, skirts, jeans-it just goes with everything.

A trench is an essential must have in every wardrobe and this cropped trench is everything! When I saw it at the fashion show I was immediately in love and seeing it in person just confirmed that feeling. At the fashion show it was paired with a pair of jeans, booties, and a hat and looked darling on the model. I will be wearing it with jeans as well, but I wanted to try it over a summer jumpsuit and flats and love the look.
