What Can You Buy For Under $100 At Evie Lou Boutique? (Hint: A Lot!)

I’ve been doing a lot of shopping lately, as usual, so I decided I needed to look for some affordable pieces to add to my wardrobe. I also want to support small businesses. Enter Evie Lou, an amazing boutique located in Tremont, Ohio with their new sister boutique, ELO, in Oberlin and an extensive online site.

I was looking for clothes under $100 and found so many great pieces that I loved and knew I could style with what I already have in my closet. 

These pants are incredible. They’re a great alternative to sweatpants, but seriously just as comfortable. I love the sequin and metallic detail on the left leg along with words of inspiration, but all done subtly. I paired these pants with a long sleeve black bodysuit, but you could also wear a short or long sleeve t-shirt and as it gets colder add a cozy sweater. I love how this looks with a leather jacket, but a jean jacket will work just as well. A chunky heel bootie suited my mood today, but I can also see this looking great with combat boots or sneakers. In the summer I’ll wear the pants with a t-shirt or tank top and a pair of sandals. These pants are year round fun!!

Another alternative to sweatpants, these drawstring pants have a cool faux zipper down the side of each leg. I love these pants with a sweater and high tops, and I’m ready to run errands or hang out on my spot on the couch. They’re super comfy, like the pants above. I’ll also wear them with sandals and a tank top in the warmer weather. 

This dress is so me! I love the asymmetrical hemline, cowl neck, and it has pockets!! I love pockets! Since it’s getting a little cooler now I put a long sleeve shirt underneath, but come spring I won’t need one. As it get even colder I’ll add a pair of tights with my booties. This is a great dress to wear with both boots or sneakers. The colors of the dress also make me happy as I am trying to add some color to my wardrobe, but I really don’t want to give up black.

I love wearing a feminine dress with combat boots and a leather jacket, and this midi dress is ideal for this pairing. That being said, this dress will also look perfect with a pair of heels for a night out. The rich emerald color and flowy skirt are just beautiful. I felt like twirling in this dress!

Cashmere is always good and this poncho, in a beautiful winter moss color, is perfection. As you can see, it is gorgeous with a pair of jeans or over a dress. What I love about this poncho is that you can make it as dressy or casual as you choose depending on what you pair it with. It is also available in other colors. You’ll wear this so often, it will definitely be the perfect addition to your wardrobe.

I am mad for this plaid trucker shirt/jacket because it’s really cute, the colors are pretty, and it can be worn so many ways. I chose to wear it as a jacket over a t-shirt and jeans with a pair of combat boots and then over a dress with a pair of booties. I could also substitute a pair of sneakers for the boots. While I love how this looks as a jacket, I will also wear it as a shirt with a pair of jeans or a skirt. This is a great alternative to a traditional flannel shirt. 

This sweater top is a mix consisting of a sweater body with beautiful woven sleeves. While I paired this faux wrap top with jeans, it would also look great with a skirt or trousers. This  top is one that could be worn in every season. It would also look cute with a pair of shorts on a cool summer night. What could be better than something you can wear year round?!
