What I’m Wearing: Sequins

I love wearing clothes and accessories that are unique and while sequins are not necessarily unique, wearing them during the day can be.

While this sequin dress can easily be worn at night with a pair of heels, I paired it with a Vince pullover sweater and a pair of kitten heel booties (similar), both oldies from my closet, making it daytime ready. Another option is to substitute a leather jacket for the sweater. Again, while I wouldn’t wear this to run errands, I will wear it to meet my friends for lunch.

These sequin joggers (similar) are another item that can be dressed up or down. Simply changing your top and shoes can make these joggers either dressy or more casual. Here I paired them with the same sweater I wore with the dress and a pair of mules. Changing the shoes to flats will make it more casual. I’d even put a cute pair of sneakers with this outfit for a day of shopping. If I were to add a silk top, this would easily be ready for a night out.
