They say a coat can make an outfit, and although I don’t know who “they” is, I have to agree with them. Especially when it’s a coat from Cotes of London.
When I was younger it was all about how it looked, and while that is still really important, nowadays comfort plays a bigger role. No more jeans I can’t breathe in (remember those?!) or freezing because a coat would ruin the look? Well, when I put on The Chelsea Down Jacket I felt super stylish and, when I went outside, I was warm (and it was cold out!) With Cotes of London I get both looks and comfort!
Aside from feeling and looking good in the Chelsea Jacket, it’s really fun to style. Obviously it’s great with jeans and sneakers, but I can also really dress it up.
Here I went for a monochromatic look. I love how the jacket looks with the subtle sparkle in this dress. I wore this out to dinner with friends and felt amazing in this outfit!
A pair of wide leg pants in a grayish black look so good with this a-frame jacket. This is a great outfit for running errands and then will take me straight out to lunch with the girls!
I loved styling this outfit. The dress I’m wearing is perfect for a cocktail party. I normally wouldn’t wear a puffy coat over such a dressy outfit, but this one is different. It looks and feels dressy when paired with a dressy outfit. When I added this wrap belt, I just fell in love with the look.
Lindsi, the Founder and Creative Director, wanted to create coats that would travel easily with men and women on whatever adventures they encountered and take you from day to night. I think she’s done a fabulous job!

I love a coat that you can use all of the time as it can be worn with casual or formal gear. A good coat is an investment that you want to use!
