We’ve been exploring the city, ok New York City. New Yorkers refer to it as “the city” and presume everyone else knows what city we’re talking about 😂. Anyway, there’s alway something incredible to discover, especially in Central Park.
One Saturday we were walking through the park and stopped to watch a softball game. It brought back a lot of memories from when I used to go to my husband’s games-even before he was my husband!
The ice skating rink, Wollman Rink, is a disco roller rink, Disco Oasis, in the summer and it looks so cute. It was fun to stop and watch the people skating.
We continued on our walk and listened to musicians playing their instruments, watched dancers, skaters, and bikers, people picnicking, and everyone just enjoying the park and their day!
It was so much fun to watch kids (and adults) playing with bubbles. What is it about bubbles-they bring out the kid in everyone! I was sitting with my husband watching and all of a sudden he jumped up to pop a big one!! 🤪
Central Park truly is a magical place. Seeing the buildings above the trees is really pretty. There’s always so much going on and the people watching is absolutely the best!

Looks like fun! I have never really walked around Central park! Hard to believe. When I was there years ago with a brand, I wanted to explore during the time off, but there was a Noresasterr! It looks so pretty that day and the sound of a picnic is perfect too!
Enjoying hearing about your explorations!

Jess, you need to come back and we can explore Central Park together! The other day I actually walked the northern part, which I had never been to before. There’s just so much to see! xo, Michele
I’ve always wanted to visit Central Park although I have been to NYC a couple of times. I did make it to Battery Park and the 9/11 memorial but I’m dying to come back and explore even more.
Hi Rena, Next time you come back definitely visit Central Park. The great thing about it is that it’s so beautiful in all seasons – leaves changing colors, snow on the ground, flowers blooming, green grass and people playing – so whatever time of year you come it will be wonderful! You did get to explore other important places-the 9/11 Memorial and Battery Park, but there’s so much more to see! Let me know when you plan to visit! xo, Michele
Central Park and New York City in general are top of my bucket list. Great post to encourage me to finally book the trip and go!
Debbie, You’ll be so happy when you are here. There’s so much to do in NYC and it’s just incredible. Let me know when you plan your trip! Thanks for reading. xo, Michele
This is a park like no other. I remember the time we were there to celebrate its 150th year and we couldn’t even get all the way through it.
XOXO

Central Park is amazing and I appreciate what you put together here. I do think of it fondly especially because that is where I ran my first half marathon.
Thanks Judy! That’s so cool that it was the site of your first half marathon! Special memories for you!! xo, Michele

Looks you really had a wonderful time exploring Central Park. Maybe, I’ll be able to tour around it, when I get to visit my sister.
Hi Mel, Definitely make time to play in the park when you visit your sister!!
