As we’re all shopping for the holidays it’s so important to support small businesses. Yesterday I shared some of my favorite local small businesses. Today I’m sharing some other favorite small businesses and while these may not be close by, thanks to online shopping you can enjoy them right in your living room.
Devoted to Style: I met Ali, the owner of Devoted to Style, on Instagram and we instantly forged a friendship. We have so much in common, including our love for the clothing she sells and how she styles them. Ali’s style is classic, retro, and a little bit rock ’n roll and this translates to really great clothes! You can shop Devoted to Style on Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.
North of 30: This New Zealand boutique is geared towards woman “north of 30” years old, but I think their selection is so good that women of all ages will love it. Selling clothes, shoes, bags, jewelry, and other accessories, North of 30 has “a love of style over fashion. We buy fashion, but style is what we do with it.” Check them out, you’ll love their style!
Philine of San Francisco: If you’re looking for a coat that will make you feel like a model or a movie star then look no further! Philine describes her brand as being “fun and luxurious and stands out from the status quo” and I could not agree more. When I put on her coats I felt glamorous and beautiful and just really wanted to go somewhere special, but I’ll also wear them everyday-they’re that good! Use this link https://philinesf.com/discount/BORED15 and the code BORED15 at checkout for 15% off your order. Yay!
Heavenly Feet: I won a really cute pair of combat boots from Heavenly Feet and unfortunately the size I selected was too big. I contacted them and they sent me a new pair!! If that isn’t the best customer service I don’t know what is! Plus they have the cutest selection of footwear and handbags. Many of their shoes have memory foam insoles-comfy!! You need to check them out ASAP.
Perla Coco Designs: If you’re looking for jewelry that is cool and unique, look no further. Helen, the artist behind Perla Coco Designs, uses vintage, broken, and preloved pieces to create her jewelry. Her designs are so fun and different, and if you’re like me who doesn’t want to see everyone wearing what I’m wearing, then Perla Coco Designs is for you-handmade, upcycled jewelry that will make you smile.
Unsolved Case Files: This was one of the most fun activities! We’re big fans of crime/detective shows in my house and solving a murder mystery was right up our alley. If you’re looking for something fun to do and want to challenge yourself, this is the perfect activity. This murder mystery game is so well thought out and is perfect to solve by yourself, with a friend, or even host a murder mystery party (once it’s safe to do so!) UEndure Organic Tea Co: I’m a tea drinker and I’m always looking for flavorful, caffeine free teas. Well, I found it! UEndure offers organic, tasty, healthy teas. If you go to their site they also have a blog with articles about how different teas can help with specific conditions such as digestive issues or menopause. Aside from selling a great product, UEndure is a female Black owned small business so I’m double happy to be able to share.
If you have any favorite small businesses, please share them with me. I’m always happy to learn of new places to shop! In the meantime, thank you for supporting small businesses. It’s better for us all. Happy Shopping!
