Travel Dreams: Sharing Favorite Trips and Where We Hope To Go Next

My husband and I have had some really wonderful trips back when we were able to travel. Some of my favorite destinations include Florence, Barcelona, and Greece, especially Santorini. I also loved when we took a cross country road tip. Honestly, I never realized how beautiful my own country was until this trip. We’re doing this on a smaller scale this summer with my kids and I’m so looking forward to that.

I asked some of my favorite instagrammers, bloggers, and influencers what their favorite trips were and where they are hoping to travel next once it is safe to do so. Every time I read one of their responses I’d say “Oh, I want to go there too!” There are so many wonderful places to visit!

Emma of @reclaimed.hippie: So my favourite trip was to New York then Barbados for my 40th. We’ve been to Barbados a few times. It’s so lovely as you mix with the locals and it’s very safe. We were supposed to go again last year for our silver wedding anniversary. My next trip will be to our apartment in Fuerteventura. No one has been able to go for over a year, so I’m dying to go and make sure it’s all ok. If I could live anywhere, it would probably be there.

Ann of @tinitravelsblog: I have such a hard time with the favorite trip question because honestly, I fall in love with almost every destination I visit…for so many varied reasons! I’d have to say that Italy has been my favorite country so far and I base that by the fact that every time I return home I’m already planning my next visit! There is just so much to see and so many different beautiful areas to explore! I’m mesmerized by the ancient history, the culture, traditions, architecture, the landscape, the food and the warmth of the people!

Caitlin of publiclivessecretrecipes.com ( @publiclivessecretrecipes ): I have SO many favorite trips, it’s hard to choose one! Living in LA, I was lucky to be a 30 minute drive from Malibu, meaning I was technically able to (safely) “get away” this entire past year which was such a savior.

I also studied abroad a few years back in Florence, Italy which was an experience I’ll never forget! I was visiting other countries every weekend, eating pasta twice a day, living with my best friends and my family came to visit – aka it was all of my favorite things in one place! Once it’s safe to travel again, I hope to take some time to travel both with family and friends as well as some solo travel! My dream destinations include Australia, India, all 50 states – honestly, anywhere!

Erica of @styledbyericasummers: My favourite trip would have to be a trip to Rome with my hubby. I just loved walking around in the warm sunshine, seeing each beautiful fountain and the amazing landmarks. The Trevi Fountain was every bit as spectacular as I imagined it would be! Eating gelato on the Spanish Steps and people watching on the Via del Corso were also wonderful to experience.

My first destination once it’s safe to travel again will be Mallorca. We love it there and have some special friends to see. My boys have spoken about their friends throughout the pandemic and can’t wait to return.

My dream destination would be the Bahamas. It would be amazing to stay at the Atlantis Paradis Hotel. It looks incredible ?

Candace of @candace_kell:  My favorite trip was the Bahamas. It was not what I was expecting it to be when it came to the culture and overall lifestyle once you stepped away from the tourist destinations. It was wonderful to see and experience since it gave me a peek into what different country is like. The Bahamas is such a ruggedly beautiful place.

Once it’s safe I would love to go anywhere with a beach such as Hawaii.

My dream destination is Paris. I hear and see so much about it. I would love to experience it for myself.
