Valentine’s Day Outfit

I love to get dressed up. Often my friends will ask why I’m so dressed up when we go out to lunch or get together for our non-book book club. I think it’s because wearing clothes I love gives me a sense of joy, plus I really enjoy shopping and want to wear my purchases!

While this outfit consists of only three items; a turtleneck, skirt, and boots, it is anything but simple. Staci Snider’s designs are always so interesting and the fit is consistently perfect. I’ve had this Staci Snider skirt for a while, but I feel like it’s one that I’ll be able to wear for a long time. I love the side pockets, side toggles, and front zipper. It’s fun and can be dressed up or worn casual with sneakers or sandals. Since the skirt has so much going on I decided to pair it with a simple turtleneck. Usually I would wear black boots, but my son suggested I try these Dolce Vita off white booties and I love how it looks. I think it’s a perfect outfit to wear for Valentine’s Day dinner.
