Typically my attire is something black. If I do something different it will probably be another neutral. For a while I’ve been talking about adding color to my wardrobe and now I’ve decided that I want to add some prints as well, specifically florals.
When I took a look back at outfits I’d worn over the last few years, I was honestly surprised to see that on occasion I have worn some florals. Here are a few oldies, but goodies.
Miss Nelly Boutique sent me this skirt and top a while back as I fell in love with it on her site. I absolutely love this outfit. I love the print. I love how it fits. I love that it’s two pieces and I can make so many different outfits from it. I can wear the top with jeans or a skirt. Adding a t-shirt or sweater with the skirt will allow me to wear it in warmer or cooler weather.
A floral accessory, like this clutch from YellowBird is another way to add some interest to your outfit.
This maxi dress from Free People is definitely going to be a staple this summer. Here I’m wearing it with a black tube top underneath and love the look. I also love how it looks with a jean or leather jacket over it. And of course I’ll add a sweater over it when it gets cooler.
This high low maxi dress from Eliza J is the perfect choice for a summer wedding or party. It’s so feminine and I love the ruffles. This faux wrap dress can easily be dressed up or down.

Wow. I love every outfit! I am a floral girl and if I look at my wardrobe, I do have a fair amount of prints, many of them floral. I loved that set when you first posted it, the colors are glorious! The classic dress and cute floral bag is the perfect summer look. The last dress is so romantic it looks lovely too!

I personally love the soft feminine appeal florals offer but I liked how you can wear florals with accessories too, your darling purse was a perfect introduction to someone that isn’t so sure of wearing florals.
