These last two months have been so busy, but good busy! We’ve been back and forth to Florida, watching the renovations on our new house there and guess what?? Yes, the reno on our NY apartment has begun! Our contractor had been ready to go for almost a year so it’s definitely was not him. I’m so excited that it’s finally under way.
We went to Durham, NC for a weekend for a friend’s daughter’s wedding. It was such a beautiful weekend celebrating the bride and groom and seeing Cleveland friends we haven’t seen in a while. We spent one afternoon exploring Durham. Duke’s campus and botanical gardens are absolutely gorgeous.
May is a big month for birthdays in my family as three of my four children are May babies! Plus my niece, great nephew, and a cousin have May birthdays as well! Two of my three kids were not in town for their birthdays, but we celebrated my son’s together and the others virtually!
I love May because as the weather starts to get nicer so do I (I think! 😂) Sunshine and warmer days do make me happy so this is a good time of year for me.
Here are some things that kept me from being bored the past coupled of months as I’ve waited for warmer days!
RevAir Reverse Air Dryer: This was the easiest way I’ve ever straightened my hair. And the fastest! I was a little nervous to try it at first. The thought of putting my hair into something was questionable, but boy was I proven wrong! My first attempt came out good, the second better, and each time I use it I love it more and more. The Reverse Air technology dries, stretches, and smooths hair in half the time of traditional methods. The dryer is so easy to use and dries my hair so quickly that it has earned it’s space in my routine!! Don’t forget to use the discount code michele10.
Kozan: Ok, by now you know how much I love Kozan clothing. Well, when I put on this dress I just felt like dancing! Melis, the founder, owner, and designer of Kozan, creates unique clothing that will absolutely make a statement while you feel comfortable and look incredible. I’ll be sharing more Kozan in the coming weeks so stay tuned!!
Rollink: Living in an apartment space is so precious and now that we’ll be traveling back and forth from NYC to Florida I need a great suitcase. This is where Rollink comes in. Their collapsible suitcases are incredibly lightweight, yet extremely sturdy. Not having to worry about how much room an empty suitcase will take up in my apartment makes me so happy, as does knowing I’ve got reliable luggage available whenever I’m ready to travel.
Cotes of London: I love the coats and jackets from Cotes of London. They’re lightweight, yet keep you warm, looking cute, feeling comfortable, they’re really perfect. I was so excited to meet Lindsi, the founder, owner, and designer of Cotes of London and she shared some of her other designs. And they’re not just coats! I love the Paddington reversible cashmere sweater. It can be worn as a solid or wear the back in the front with contrasting stitching going down the front for a little playfulness. So cute! Don’t forget to use the code MICHELE30 for $30 off you full price order of $150 or more.
Komil: I’ve shared Komil with you before and absolutely love their clothes. They’re easy to wear, fun to style, look good and feel good! I love the textured fabrics they use in their designs as well as how versatile each piece is. Komil designs clothes that can be work year round and I love that!
YellowBird: Lynley is forever finding beautiful fabrics from which to make her bags. I love her clutches and when I saw her crossbody bags I was sold. The strap is removable so if I want to carry it as a clutch I have that option. Honestly, I was stopped by so many people on the street asking about this bag. It’s the perfect size, shape, color, perfect everything!
Cloth & Curate: Kristen is a personal stylist with a home boutique. She’ll also shop to fill those missing pieces in your wardrobe. If you have a special occasion Kristen can also help you to find the prefect outfit. She’s a one stop wonder with a mission to empower women to become the best version of themselves through fashion.
Dear Finelli,: Lauren, the founder and designer of Dear Finelli, bags, believes that one should have 100% satisfaction in what they purchase and stands by this with her bags. A NYC brand, these bags are fun and very well made. I also love that part of purchase is donated to the American Foundation for the Blind. You’ll be so happy with a Dear Finelli, bag!
Solely Jane: We can never have too many shoes, amIright??!! Well, Solely Jane has put a cool spin on their shoes. With Solely Jane you get one Classic Comfort Black Sole and as many Soulmates (tops) as you choose. This is so perfect for travel-you only have to bring the sole-one pair of shoes-and all the soulmates you want and you can have two, three, four or more pairs of shoes with you taking up very little space. And if space is an issue (as it’s been for me since moving to an apartment!) Solely Jane is perfect as it takes up very little space in your closet. Win-win!! Now to find the perfect outfits to go with all your new shoes! 😂
I hope April and May were fun for you and June brings lots of sunshine and happy times!

Good Morning Michele!
Your May babies are like our family’s July! We have loads of Birthdays in July, so enjoy all of yours in May. I love to see the designers you feature, and that there is such a unique style to each one. Love that outfit with the white trousers. The reversible cashmere sweater is fabulous too. I ended up wearing my sweaters more than anything at Martha’;s Vineyard, with my CSW pants, as it was chilly. Best wishes on your renovations!
